[Daily Observer] The Wellingara Youth and Development Association on Saturday officially opened the community’s football field and renamed it as the Dr. Kenneth D. Jackson Mini-Stadium, in a ceremony held at the ground. The day was also the occasion of the playoffs for the Ambassador Dr. Jackson Football Club in their bid for the championship which they lost by one point in a sudden death shootout.
I asked the Ambassador why he was so involved in the athletic competitions of a largely Islamic community and he told me that it was all a "part of demonstrating whose we are, who we are, what we believe, why we believe, & what we are doing as Ambassadors Of 'Elohiym On Mission 2 the world... Demonstrating His love & concern...And when & where appropriate, articulating His Good News to humanity!"
